CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting of the Moses Lake City Council was called to order at Noon by Mayor
Swartz in Council Chambers of the Civic Center. Special notice for remote attendance was
posted on the meeting agenda.
#1 Maple Ridge Utility and Access Easement
Senior Planner Nathan Pate presented applicant’s request to accept the Maple Ridge
Utility and Access Easement, allowing the processing of the 42.24 acre Maple Ridge
Large Lot Segregation (PLN2025-0100) identified under Assessor’s Parcel Number
110475037. The purpose of this easement acceptance is necessary for access and
infrastructure connectivity to ensure that such a large lot will not be land locked nor lack
public services.
Action taken: Council Member Myers moved to accept the Maple Ridge utility and access
easement allowing the processing of the 42.4 acre Maple Ridge large lot of segregation identified
under assessors parcel number 110478037, subject to approval by the City Attorney, second by
Deputy Mayor Madewell. The motion carried 5 – 0.
# 2 Council Meeting Minutes June to August 2025
This is the first batch of prior meeting minutes presented for Council approval.
Action taken: Deputy Mayor Madewell moved to adopt meeting minutes dated June to August
2025, second by Council Member Myers. The motion carried 5 – 0.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:14 p.m.
