CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting of the Moses Lake City Council was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Mayor
Swartz in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center.
Water Services Manager Chad Strevy, City Engineer Richard Law, Public Works Director Brian
Baltzell, Aspect Consulting Representative Andrew Austreng and Jill VanHulle, as well as
Wester Pacific Engineering Representative Kevin Richards, provided presentations for Council
discussions on the following topics:
•Water Conservation and Endpoint Project Report
•Aquifer Storage and Recovery Feasibility Report
•Potential New Deep Wells
Surface Water -
•Potential Lake Withdrawal Locations
•Bureau Municipal and Industrial Water Transfer from the Lake
•East Low Branch Canal Feasibility Study
•Well 20 Canal Port of Moses Lake Project
Mayor Swartz called an 8-minute recess at 7:45 p.m.
Shallow Wells -
•Progress on Deep to Shallow Exchange Discussions
•Most Viable New Shallow Well Locations
ADJOURNMENT
The special meeting was adjourned at 9 p.m.
