AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF PILGRIM STREET
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The following described public right-of-way shall be vacated;
A portion Pilgrim Street in the Northeast quarter of Section 26,Township 19 North,Range 28
East,W.M.,City of Moses Lake,Grant County,Washington described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of Pilgrim Street and Colonial Avenue as shown on the Pioneer
Commercial Park 1s'Addition Major Plat recorded in Book 19,Page 14,Grant County plat
records;thence South 11"43'24"East,158.66 feet along the centerline of said Pilgrim Street;
thence North 78°15'25"East,30.00 feet to the easterly Right-Of-Way of said Pilgrim Street and
the Point Of Beginning:thence along said easterly Right-of-Way extended South 11 °43'24"
East,48.84 feet;thence North 78°15'25"East,20.00 feet;thence along a 50.00 foot radius non-
tangent curve,concave to the southwest,an arc of 38.60 feet,the chord being North 34°0T15"
West,37.64 feet;thence along a 20.00 foot radius curve,concave to the northeast,an arc of
15.50 feet,the chord being North 33°55'52"West,15.12 feet to the Point Of Beginning.
Containing 569 feet more or less.
Section 2.The city shall be compensated for one half the appraised value of the vacated property.The
vacation shall not become effective until the required compensation is received by the city.
Section 3,This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publication
of its summary as provided by law.
Adopted by the City Council and signed by its Mayor on February 9,2010.
