2678ORDINANCE NO.2678 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3.62 OF THE MOSES LAKE MUNICIPALf~~\CODE ENTITLED "UTILITY SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CHARGES" VJ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.Chapter 3.62 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Utility System Development Charges" is amended as follows: 3.62.010 Water System Development Charges:A system development charge (SDC) shall be assessed on allproperties that connect to the City's water system,inthe amount shown below.The charge shall be paid before the Citywillturn on the water service and before the City will activate a water service account.The charge shall be shown on the Utility Service Request form. For multiple services,the water system development charge shall be due for each water service that is activated. For properties with multiple water services,the sewer system development charges shall be due for each water service that is activated;except that sewer system development charges shall not be due for water services that are irrigation only services. The increases shall be computed by the Municipal Services Department and confirmed byCityCouncilactionat a regularCityCouncilmeeting.The rate increases willbe effective on July 15 following the City Council approval. Section 2.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publication of its summary as provided by law.
