AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFEROF FUNDS
WITHIN THE 1964 CITY OF MOSES LAKE BUDGET FROM
EXCESS FUNDS WITHIN THE ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION
OF THE CURRENT EXPENSE FUND TO A NEW APPROPRIATIONiWITHINTHEAIRPORTDIVISIONOFTHECÛRRENTEXPENSE
FUND TO BE KNOWN AS "AIRPORT CLEAR ZONE ACQUISITION"
BUDGET CODE No.17.3.1,AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS the City of Moses Lake has found it necessary to acquire Clear
Zone air space easemenison the South extension of its runway in accordance
with requirements of the Federal Aviation Agency and
WHEREAS,this need was not reasonably forseeable at the time of making
estimates for the 1964 budget,and
WHEREAS the City of Moses Lake has determined that an emergency exists
making it necessary to acquire clear zone air space easements for the
purposes aforesaid,NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKEAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.There is hereby declared to be an emergency existing
which requires an emergency expenditure,to-wit:to acquire
clear zone air space easements along the South extension of the
Moses Lake Municipal Airport in accordance with requirements
of the Federal Aviation Agency,said need not being reasonably
forseeable at the time of making estimates for the 1964 budget.
Section 2 .It is hereby estimated that the cost of said air space
easements will be One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00).
Section 3.There is hereby transferred from the administrative
division of the Current Expense Fund to a new appropriation in the
Airport Division of the Current Expense Fund to be known as
Airport Airspace Easements,Budget Code No.17.3.1 in the sum
of One Thousand Two Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($1,200.00)
which shall be used for acquisition of air space easements.

Section 4.There is hereby delcared to exist an emergency as
provided in RCW 35.33.090,and this Ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon its passage by an affirmative vote
of not less than five (5)members of the City Council of the
City of Moses Lake.
