AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR CAPITAL
OUTLAY AND MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION FOR
SEWER AND WATER UTILITIES LOCATED AT FORMER
LARSON AIR PORCE BASE,WASHINGTON;INCREASING
REVENUE ITEMS WTHIN THE 1967 WATER -SEWER
FUND;PROVIDING FOR EXPENDITURES THEREFROM
,AND DECLARING AN AMERGENCY
WHEREAS,the City of Moses Lake is acquiring water and sewer utilities
located at former Larson Air Force Base,Washington,and will hereafter
operate and maintain said water and sewer utilities,and
WHEREAS,at the time of the adoption of the 1967 City of Moses Lake budget,
it was not anticipated that the City of Moses Lake would acquire the water
and sewer utilities at former Larson Air Force Base,and
WHEREAS,the acquisition of said water and sewer utilities,together with
the maintenance and operation thereof,constitutes an emergency which requires
the amendment of the 1967 City of Moses Lake budget,NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BYTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That the 1967 Budget Revenues and Expenditures be amended
in the following amounts and the same is hereby adopted for capital outlay
and maintenance and operation for sewer and water utilities located at
former Larson Air Force Base,Washington,for the year 1967:

Section 2 .That there is hereby declared to be an emergency requiring
expenditures for capital outlay and operation and maintenance for water and
sewer utilities located at former Larson Air Force Base,Washington,which were
not reasonably foreseeable at the time of making estimates for the 1967 budget,
and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage by unanimous
vote of all members of the City Council present.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council,and APPROVED by the Mayor this
29th day of June,1967 .
