AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No.108WHICHISENTITLED"AN ORDINANCE LICENSINGANDREGULATINGTAXI-CABS AND DRIVERS THEREOF INTHETOWNOFMOSESLAKE;PROVIDING POR THE REVO-CATION OF LICENSES ISSUED;PROVIDING A PENALTYIFORTHEVIOLATIONTHEREOF,AND REPEALING ORDINANCESNo.69 AND No.97 AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OFORDINANCESINCONFLICTHEREWITH"BYPROVIDING THATTHEHOURSTHATCABSERVICEISAVAILABLEMAYBEMODIFIEDATTHEDISCRETIONOFTHEMOSESLAKECITYCOUNCIL
Section 1.Section 18 of Ordinance No.108 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Section 18 .Any license issued under the provisions of this ordinance shall
provide that cab service shall be available to the general public within the
City of Moses Lake,Washington,for a period of 24 hours a day for each
and every day throughout the year;provided,however,the City Council of
I the City of Moses Lake may,by resolution,shorten the number of hours
and the number of days that cab service must be provided by the licensee.
The City Council reserves the right to revoke said license in case that
service is not rendered as provided herein or as modified by resolution.
For cause,every such license may be suspended for a period not exceeding
thirty (30)days,or it may,at any time,be revoked by the City Council.The
Council may,at its discretion,fix a time of hearing of such revocation and
give notice thereof .
