AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No.433 WHOSE
TITLE IS "THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,"BY REZONINGTHEREALESTATEHEREINAFTERDESCRIBED
NOW,THEREPORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That Ordinance No.433 of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,
passed May 9,1961,and the official zoning map adopted thereby,be amended
in the following particulars,to-wit:
That the property described as:
A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter (SWÀ)of the
Southeast Quarter (SEi)of Section 28 ,Township 19 North,Range 28 EWM.,Grant County,Washington,more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the South Quarter Corner of said Section 28,thenceNorth0°0T26"East along the West line of said Southwest Quarter(SWi)of the Southeast Quarter (SEà)of Section 28,931.77 feet,I more or less,to the Southeasterly boundary line of the right-of-wayoftheChicago,Milwaukee,St.Paul and Pacific Railroad Company;thence North 44°27'43"East along said right-of-way boundary276.98 feet;thence South 45°51'40"East 182.0 feet;thence
South 11°25'00"East 1025.16 feet,more or less,to the SouthboundaryofsaidSection28;thence North 89°46'20"West
529.55 feet along said South boundary line to the point of be-
ginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following described tract conveyed totheCityofMosesLake:That portion of the right-of-way for street
purposes being 50.0 feet each side of the following described linelyingwithintheSoutheastQuarter(SE¾)of said Section 28;Beginning
at the South Quarter corner of said Section 28;thence North 57°58'16"West a distance of 231.20 feet to the true point of beginning;thenceNorth32°08'44"East 258.48 feet;thence continuing on a curve to theleftwhichhasaradiusof378.44 feet through an interior angle of
77°39'24"to an intersection with the Southeast right-of-way line ofsaidRailroadCompany.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY:I Beginning at the South Quarter corner of said Section 28;thenceNorth00°07'26"along the West line of the said Southwest Quarter(SWi)of the Southeast Quarter (SE¼)of Section 28,a distance of261.15 feet;thence South 89°46'20"East a distance of 475.97 feet;thence South ll°25'East a distance of 266.42 feet,more or less,totheSouthboundaryofsaidSection28;thence along said SouthboundaryofSection28529.55 feet to the point of beginning,except
any portion lying in the city street or road.
ALSO that portion of Battery Orchard Tract 72 which remains in theNortheastcornerofWapatoandBroadway,
be and the same is hereby changed from Zone R1S to HS.

Section 2 .That it is the intention of this ordinance to change the zone
classification of only land herein set out and shall not affect or change
any other zones of land as described in Ordinance No.433.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this 14th day of
May,1968.
