THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,DO ORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.A New section shall be added to the code under the Title,"ScheduleforRoimbursenient",as follows:i 9,2.04 Water Service Connection Charges
(3)Water service within the service area described as:
The area commonly known as the Longview Area,including Longview Tracts Plat and its Pirst andSecondAdditions,bounded on the south by thecenterlineofDivisionRoad,on the east by thecenterlineofStratfordRoad,on the north by thesoutherlyrightofwaylineoftheAirportRailroad,and on the west by the center line of Longview Street,
May secure water service under the following options:
Option (a):
A $2.00 per inonth charge per water service for a period oftwenty(20}years will be paid by all users in the service areadescribedabove.The charge will be collected starting June 1,1971 for those customers being served at that date.The chargewillstartonthefirstofthemonthfollowinghookupofserviceandrunfortwenty(20)years from that date on all services '
hooked up in the above area after June 1,1971.
This opticn will include the installation of a water service at noadditionalcostforexistingbuildingsorforconnectionstocurrentlyundevelopedpropertyforconstructionofnewbuildings,after signing a Water Service Agreement.
Option (b):
New customers may also receive water selviĊupon payment ofafrontfootchargeof$3.95 per foot,plus the cost of a standardmeterinstallationinlieuofpaying$2.00 per month for a periodoftwenty(20)years.
(4)Wyter service outside but immediately adjacentto°the service areaonStratfordRoad,Division Road and Longview street,will be provideduponpaymentofafrontfootchargeof$3.95 per foot,plus thechargeforastandardmeterinstallation.
Section 2.That Ordinance No.623 and all ordinances or part thereof,inconflictwiththeprovisionsofthisordinancebe,and the same are,hereby repealed.
Section 3.Effective Date
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5)days fromandafteritspassage,approval and legal publication as providedbylaw.
