AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO,433 WHOSE TITLE IS "THE COMPREHENSIVE2ONINGORDINANCEOFTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON",BYRE3ONING THEREALESTATEHEREINAFTERDESCRIBED,
WHEREAS It has been requested by the owners of the Lakeshore Trailer Park,Irish Meadows TrailerParkandShorewoodTrailerParkthattheirtrailerparksberesonedfromtheirpresentzoningofR-Is,Single Family Suburban Residential,to R-3,Multi-Family Residential soning,and;
WHEREAS it has been requested by the owners of Central Towing and OK Rubber Welders that theirbusinessesberezonedfromtheirpresentzoningofHS,Highway Service and R-3,Multi-FamilyResidential,to C-M,Community Business zoning,and;
WHEREAS the Planning Commission has ileld a Public Hearing to consider these zone change requests,and;
WHEREAS the Planning Commission found that in the best interest of the General Welfare of the citi2ensofMosesLakethatalargerareathanthatrequestedbythepropertyownersshouldberesoned:
NOW THER2FORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN ASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.That Ordinance No.433 of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,passed May 9,1961,andtheofficialzoningmapadopted,be amended in the following particulars,to wit:
(1)A111and bordered by Orchard Avenue,the southern section line of the NBÅ of theiNE¼of Sec.28,T.19N,R.28 E,West Broadway Avenue and an imaginary line threehundred(300)feet Northwest of and parrelel to West Broadway Avenue,and,
A111and between the southern section line of the NE¾of the NEi of Sec.28,T.19 N,R;28 E and the Milwaukee Railroad Right of Way NE of West Broadway in-cluding the southern 2/3 of Grant County Assesor's Tax No.1322,Grant CountyAssessor's Tax Nos.4256 and 1404,and Lots Nos,8 -28 of Tullis Addition,GrantCountyAssessor's Tax Nos.3345 and 3278,Lots Nos.1 and 2 of Block 7 of SunsetParkAdditionandLotsNos.14 and 15 of Block 6 of Sunset Park Addition shall bezonedC-M,Community Business,and,
(2)All land bordered by Orchard Avenue,Marina Drive,Gibby Road,Lee Street andtheproposedCommunityBusinesszoneexcludingLots1r12ofBennettAdditionshallbezonedR-3,Multi-Pamily Residential.
Section 2.That it is the intention of this Ordinance to change the zone classification of only the landhereinsetoutandnotaffectorchangeanyotherzonesoflandasdescribedinOrdinanceNo.433.
Section 3.This Ordinance shall he effective five (5)days after its passage and publication.
