AN ORDINANCEALLONING FACTORYBUILT HOMESTO BEPLACEDONINDIVIDUALSINGLEFEMILYLOTSWITHIN
CERTAIN BASIC REQUIREMENTS.
I THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Placement Allowed.An individual factory built home may be placed
on an individual single family lot within any residential sone,providing itmeetscertainbasicrequirements.
Section 2.Basic Requirements.The following are the basic requirements thatmustbemetifafactorybuilthomeistobeplacedinaresidentialzone:
A.A factory built home must bear a state insignia from the DepartmentofLaborandIndustries,showing compliance with RCH 43.22.450 -
43.22.490 describing the rules and regulations for factory builthousing.
B.Foundations for factory built homes must be provided in accordancewithprovisionoftheUniformBuildingCode.The home must thenbeadequatelyanchoredtoitsfoundation.
C.A factory built home unit must comply with all applicable codesforsewagedisposal,water supply and other utilities.
D.A factory built home unit must meet all set-back and other require-ments of the Zoning Ordinance or Subdivision regulations.
I Section 3.Severability.The invalidity of any part of this Ordinance shallnotaffectthevalidityofanyotherpartwhichcanbegiveneffectwithoutsuchinvalidpartorparts.
Section 4.Effective Date.This Ordinance shall take effect and be in forcefive(5)days after its passage and publication as provided by law.
