NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PLUMBING AND MECHANICALOFFICIALS
THE CITY

LAKE,WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
3.14 UNIFOW4 CODE ADOPTED
The City Council of the City of Moses Lake adopts the 1976 Edition of the UniformPlumbingCode.The code is adopted in the whole,including appendices.Threecopiesofthe1976EditionoftheUniformPlumbingCodearenowonfileintheofficeoftheClerkoftheCityofMosesLakeandthesameareadoptedandincorporated
as fully as if set out at length herein.
FILING
That three copies of the Uniform Plumbing Code shall be filed for use and examinationbythepublicintheOfficeoftheClarkoftheCityofMosesLakepriortotheadoptionhereof,and said copies of said codes shall remain in said office for useandexaminationbythepublicatalltimessubsequenttotheadoptionofthisordinance.
VIOLATIONS ANDPENALTIES
Any person,firm,or corporation who violates,disobeys,omits,naglects or refuses
to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of thisordinanceshallbedeemedguiltyofamisdemeanorandshallbefinedinanysumnotmorethanfivehundreddollars($500)or imprisoned in the county jail foriatermnotexceedingninety(90)days,or both for each such offense.Each separatedayoranyportionthereofduringwhichanyviolationofthisCodeoccursorcontinuesshallbedeemedtoconstituteaseparateoffense,and upon conviction thereof shallbepunishableashereinprovided.The issuance or granting of a permit or approvalofplansandspecificationsshallnotbedeemedorconstruedtobeapermitfor,or an approval of,any violation of any of the provisions of the Code.No permitpresumingtogiveauthoritytoviolateorcanceltheprovisionsofthisCodeshallbevalid,except insofar as the work or use which it authorized is lawful.
REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES
Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
VALIDITY
The invalidity of any part of this ordinance shall not effect the validity of anyotherpartwhichcanbegiveneffectwithoutsuchinvalidpartorparts.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its passageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
