AN ORDINANCE REPEALING EXISTING CHAPTER 1.21 OF THE MOSES LAKECITYCODEENTITLED"CITY SHOP DEPARTMENT",AND ENACTING A NEWCHAPTER1.21 ENTITLED "EQUIPMENT RENTAL FUND".
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.SPECIFIC REPEAL Chapter 1.21 is hereby repealed in its entirety.I Section 2 NEW CHAPTER ENACTED chapter 1.21,entitled "Equipment Rental Fund"shallbeasfollows:
1.21.04 STATE LAW ADOPTED This chapter is adopted pursuant to RCW 35.21.088.TheFinanceDirectorshalladministerthefinancingoftheEquipmentRentalFund.Thisfundshallbeusedtoacquire,service,repair,and maintain all city vehicles andequipment.
1.21.08 TAXES AND CKARGES The taxes and charges for the equipment rental rates aretobesetforthintheBudgetOrdinanceasannuallyadoptedbytheCityCouncil.
Section 3 REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES Any and all ordinances or parts ofordinancesinconflictherewithareherebyrepealed.
Section 4 SEVERABILITY The invalidity of any part of this ordinance shall noteffectthevalidityofanyotherpartwhichcanbegiveneffectwithoutsuchinvalidpartorparts.
Section 5 EFFECTIVE DATE This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five(5)days after its passage and publication as provided by law.
