AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TEÈ ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORYTOTHECÏTTÒFM0SESLAKE,WASHINGTON,AND INCORPORATING THESAMEWITHINTHECORPORATELIMITSTHEREOF,PROVIDING FOR THEASSUMPTIONOFEXISTINGINDEBTEDNESS,ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE
LAND USE PLAN,AND ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 That the following described real estate situated in Grant.County,contiguoustotheCityofMoses.Lake is hereby annexed to and incorporated in the City of Moses .
Lake:
Township lâN.Range 28 E.W.M.Commencing at the è corner common to Section 14 and 15;/thence 40'east to the eastboundaryofStratfordRoad;thence south along said east boundary to the intersectionoftheStratfordRoadright-of-way and the high water mark of Moses Lake which is theTPOB;thence continue south along said east boundary to the intersection of the high
water mark on the south shore of Moses Lake and the right-of-way for Stratford Road;thence meandering northeast along the said south shore of Moses Lake to an intersectionofthehighwaterlineandthenorth-south centerline of the southwest quarter ofSection14;thence north along the north-south centerline of the southwest quarterofSection14;thence on a straight line in a northeast direction toward the.northeast
corner of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 14 to an intersec-tion with the southerly right-of-way line of Washington State Highway SR #17;thencenorthwestalongthesoutherlyright-of-way line of said SR #17 to an intersectionwithaline660'east and parallel to the west line of section 14;thence southalongtheline660'east and parallel to said Section 14 to the east-west centerlineofsaidSection14;thence east along said centerline of Section 14 200'more orlessto-the high water mark of the northerly shore of Moses Lake;thence meanderingalongthenortherlyshoreline.to the TPOB.
Section 2 All property within the territory annexed shall hereinafter be assessedandtaxedatthesamerateandonthesamebasisasother.property within the City
to pay for any outstanding indebtedness of the City of Moses Lake contracted priortoorexistingatthedateofannexation.No property herein annexed shall bereleasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannexation.
Section 3 That a copy of this Ordinance,together with a copy of the official platofsaidterritorytobeannexedtotheCityofMosesLake,shall he filed with theBoardofCountyCommissionersofGrantCounty,Washington and the original plat ofsaidterritoryshallbefiledwiththe.county Auditor în the manner required by law.
Section 4 The annexed real estate shall be subject to a comprehensive land use plan.
Section 5 That the annexed real estate described in Section 1 herein is hereby zonedC-2,Limited Commercial for all property above the 1,050 foot elevation and that allpropertybelowthe1,050 foot elevation shall be zoned CR,.Conservation Reclamation.
Section 6 This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its
passage and.publication as provided by law.
