901_00001ORDINANCE No._gol WITHCORRECTEDLEGALDESCRIPTION AN ORDINANCE VACATING A THIRTY FOOT WIDE PORTION OF LAND ADJACENT TO STRATFORD ROAD THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.That the 30 foot wide portion of land which was formerly used as a right-of-way for the Ephrata/Moses Lake Highway at the intersection of Valley Road and Stratford Road,described as follows,shall be vacated: That portion of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 15,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.,Grant County,Washington described as: Se inning.at the east quarter corner of said Section 15 thence nor.t.h-89 51'56"west along the north line of said southeast quarter of said section a distance of 30 feet;thence south D 05'19"west parallel totheeastlineofsaidsoutheastquarter234feet;thence north 89 51'56" west 46.36 feet to the True Point of Beginning;thence continuing north 89 51'56"west 36.84 feet;thence on a 607.92 foot radius curve to therightarclengthof92.71 feet,(Chord bears S 29 56'49"E 92.62 feet), to a point which lies 30 feet west of the east line of said southeast quarter of said section 15;thence SO 05'19"W 79.575 feet;thence on a 577.92 foot radius curve to the left an arc length of 180.89 feet(Chord bears N 27 25'05"W 180.15 feet),to the True Point of Beginning, except for the easterly five feet (5')paralleling Stratford Road to be retained for sidewalk purposes. Section 2.That the owner of Grant County Tax Nos.4138 and 8666 shall dedicate to theCityofMosesLake,a five foot right-of-way for sidewalk purposes along said property onStratfordRoad. Section 3.The existing signs shall remain in the right-of-way until such timeiasasidewalkisconstructedoruntilchangesormodificationsaremadetosuchsigns. Section 4.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days afteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
