ANORDINANCEPROVIDINGFORTHEANNEXATIONOF CERTAINTOTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON,ANDINCORPORATI HSAMEWITHINTHECORPORATELIMITSTHEREOF,PROVIDINGFASSUMPTIONOFEXISTINGINDEBTEDNESSANDZONING THECITY COUNCILOF THECITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS: I Section 1 That the following described real estate situated in Grant County,con-tiguous to the City of Moses Lake is hereby annexed to and incorporated in the CityofMosesLake: That portion of the SW¾SEk of the northwest quarter of Section 14,Township 19North,Range 28 East,W.M.,County of Grant,State of Washington,contained withinthefollowingdescribedparcel: A tract of land bounded by a line beginning at the most northerly cornerofBlock105oftheSUKO-PENADDITIONTO THECITY OF MOSESLAKE,WashingtonasrecordedinVolume4,on page 9 of Plats,Records of Grant County;thence north 53°42'00"east along the northwesterly boundary line ofsaidBlock105extendedadistanceof380.00 feet,said line being thesoutheasterlyright-of-way boundary line for the former Grant CountyRoadNo.821,presently a city street knownas East Broadway,thencenorth36°18'00"West a distance of 100.00 feet to the northwesterlyright-of-way boundary line of said city street;thence north 53°42'00"east along the northwesterly right-of-way boundary line of said cit.ystreetadistanceof220.10 feet to the southerly corner of the platknownasEastBroadwayIndustrialPlat;thence north 72°49'46"west alongthesoutherlyboundarylineofsaidplatadistanceof369.76 feet,thencenorth36°18'00"west along the southwesterly boundary line of saidplatadistanceof65.70 feet to the southeasterly easement boundarylineoftherailroadspurlineoftheChicago,Milwaukee.St.Paul andiPacificRailroadthencecontinuingnorth36°18'00"West a distance of659.84 feet;thence north 00°12'40"east a distance of 272.90 feetsaidpointbeingthetruepointofbeginning;thence north 45°00'31"--east a distance of 645.04 feet;thence south 36°18'00"east a distanceof565.27 feet to the northerly boundary of the NE¼SW¾thence westalongsaidnortherlyboundary589°58'05"W 790.80 feet to the true pointofbeginning. Section 2 All property within the territory annexed shall hereinafter be assessedandtaxedatthesamerateandonthesamebasisasotherpropertywithinthecity topayforanyoutstandingindebtednessoftheCityofMosesLakecontractedpriortoorexistingatthedateofannexation.No property herein annexed shall be releasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannexation. Section 3 That a copy of this ordinance,together with a copy of the official platofsaidterritor.y to be annexed to the city of Moses Lake,shall be filed with theBoardofCountyCommissionersofGrantCounty,Washington and the original plat ofsaidterritoryshallbefiledwiththeCountyAuditorinthemannerrequiredbylaw. Section 4 That the annexed real estate described in Section 1 herein is hereby zonedI-1,Industrial. Section 5 This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after itspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
