ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER12.16 OF THEMOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"EXCAVATIONSANDOBSTRUCTIONS"
THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Section 12.16.010 of Chapter 12.16 of the Moses Lake Municipal Codeentitled"Excavations and Obstructions"is hereby amended to read as follows:
12.16.010 Permit Required:It is unlawful for any person,firm,or corporationItodigup,break,excavate,use,occupy,tunnel,undermine or in anywayobstructordisturbanystreet,alley,sidewalk,highway,thorough-fare or other public place,or to fill in,place,leave or deposit in
or upon any such public street,highway,alley,thoroughfare,sidewalk
or public place any article,material or thing whatsoever tending toobstruct,disturb or interfere with the free use of the same,without
first having obtained written permission from the engineer of the cityasprovidedinthischapter,except as provided in 12.12.060 of theMosesLakeMunicipalCode.
Section 2.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days afteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
