ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER13.08 OF THEMOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODE,ENTITLED"WATERANDSEWERCONNECTIONS"BYADDINGNEWSECTIONS
THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON,DOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That reimbursement schedules be established by adding certain sectionstoChapter13.08 as follows:
i 13.08.096 Water service connection charges in Section 27.T19N,Range 28 EWM,andSection28,T19N,Range 28 EWM,installed by the City of Moses LakeundertheMid-Peninsula HUDCommunity Development Block Grant,shall bereimbursedbythepropertyowneruponpropertysubdivisionoruponrequesttoconnecttocitywater.The reimbursement shall be a portionoftheregularpermitfeeforwaterservicesasrequiredbyordinance.Two hundred dollars ($200)of the permit fee shall be deposited to theHUDFundandtheremainingportionofthepermitfeeshallbeplacedintheCityofMosesLake's Water Revenue Fund.This reimbursement sched-ule shall terminate in ten (10)years from the date of passage by theCityCouncil.This connection charge shall be assessed against thefollowingproperty:
A.Section 27,T19N,Range 28 EWM:Western Addition,Lots 10 -15MackinAddition,Lots 1 -3KolarKeyAddition,Lots 3 and 4andTax#1219.
B.Section 28,T19N,Range 28 EWM:Wilmot Addition,Lot 23CapistranoFirstAddition,Block 12,Lots 9 and 10;Block 13,Lot 20PeninsulaAddition No.1,Lots 5 and 11
i Tax #442A,#5771,and #6546
13.08.097 The reimbursement from the property fronting the following describedpropertyshallbe$6.50per front foot.Reimbursement connectionchargesforwatermaininstallationonpropertyservedbywaterfromtheeightinch(8")water main on a portion of "L"NE described asfollows:
A.All property abutting and lying west of the following describedline.Beginning at the SE corner of Section 13.T19N,Range 28EWM,thence north 00°32'39"east,759.33 feet.
B.All property abutting and lying east of the following describedline.Beginning at the SE corner of Section 18,T19N,Range 29EWM,thence north 00°32'39"east,2,285.00 feet.
The reimbursement shall be put into the Water/Sewer Fund.
13.08.163 Side sewer connection charges in Section 27,T19N,Range 28 EWMandSection28T19N,Range 28 EWM,installed by the City of Moses Lake,under the Mid-Peninsula HUDCommunity Development Block Grant,shall bereimbursedbythepropertyowneruponproeprtysubdivisionoruponrequesttoconnecttocityseweratthefollowingscheduleandforthefollowingdescribedproperty:

B.The reimbursement from the following described property shall be$600:

Kolar Key Addition,Lots 2 -4MakinAddition,Lots 1 -3
Section 28,T19N,Range 28 EWM:Peninsula Addition No.1,Lot 11CapistranoParkAddition,Block 9,Lot 1;Block 13,Lots 16 and18-20,Block 12,Lots 9 -10WilmotAddition,Lot 23Tax#5771 and #6546.
The reimbursement shall be put into the HUDFund for a period of ten(10)years from the date of this ordinance and thereafter any remainingbalancewillbetransferredtothecity's General Fund.
Section 2.The invalidity of any part of this ordinance shall not affect thevalidit.y of any other part of this ordinance which can be given effect without suchinvalidpartorparts.
Section 3.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days afteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
Adopted by the city Council and signed by its Mayor on July 13,1982.
