1080_00001DRDINANCENO.1080 AN ORDINANCEDESIGNATINGCERTAINSTREETAREASWHERESTOP- PING,STANDING,AND/0RPARKINGIS REGULATEDRESTRICTED,OR PROHIBITEDTHEREONBYAMENDINGSECTION10.12.035 THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS: Section 1.Chapter 10.12 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "ParkingRegulations"is hereby amendedto read as follows: I 10.12.035 Restricted Parking Areas: A.Parking shall be prohibited at all times on the following namedstreets: Street Limits Pioneer Way Third Avenue to SR 17 except for thefollowinglocations:1.Beginning 275 feet south of ThirdAvenueandending500feetsouthofThirdAvenueonthewestside.2.Beginning 275 feet south of FifthAvenueandending970feetsouthofFifthAvenueonthewestside. Street Limits Beech Street Beginning 20 feet from the curb point oftangencyonthenortherlycornerofBeechStreetatFifthAvenueandextending30feetnorthwesterlyalongtheeasterlysideofBeechStreet. 10.12.040 Penalties for Parking Violations:All parking violations shall besubjecttoapenaltyofŠ5;Provided if the defendant fails to respondtothenoticeofinfractionissuedfortheviolation,a penalty of $25shallbeimposedbytheMunicipalCourtforthefailuretorespond.Such penalth shall not be suspended or excused by the Court. Section 2.Effecgive Date:This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five(5)days after its passage and publication as provided by law.
