THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 10.12 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "ParkingRegulations"is hereby amendedto read as follows:
I 10.12.035 Restricted Parking Areas:
A.Parking shall be prohibited at all times on the following namedstreets:
Street Limits
Pioneer Way Third Avenue to SR 17 except for thefollowinglocations:1.Beginning 275 feet south of ThirdAvenueandending500feetsouthofThirdAvenueonthewestside.2.Beginning 275 feet south of FifthAvenueandending970feetsouthofFifthAvenueonthewestside.
Broadway Avenue Melva Lane to I-90
Broadway Avenue Balsam Street to Alder Street on thenorthside.
Broadway Avenue Adjacent to area of property at ThirdandBroadway
i Alder Street Broadway Avenue to the railroad tracks
Stratford Road Railroad tracks to SR 17
Valley Road Stratford Road to Paxson Drive
Grape Drive Dale Road to SR 17

10.12.040 Penalties for Parking Violations:All parking violations shall besubjecttoapenaltyofÅ 5;Provided if the defendant fails to respondtothenoticeofinfractionissuedfortheviolation,a penalty of $25shallbeimposedbytheMunicipalCourtforthefailuretorespond.Such penalth shall not be suspended or excused by the Court.
Section 2.Effecgive Date:This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five(5)days after its passage and publication as provided by law.
