ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER5.44 OF THEMOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"PRIVATESECURITYBUSINESS"
THECITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 5.44 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "PrivateSecurityBusiness"is hereby amendedas follows:
5.44.080 Identification -Costs of Screening:Every owner,manager,administra-I tor,private security officer,and other employee of a private securityagencyshallatalltimeshaveinhispossessionanidentificationcardinaformapprovedbythePoliceChief.Such card shall havethereon,in addition to such other information as may be required bythePoliceChief,the photograph,right index print,employer,andsignatureofthepersonbeingidentifiedanddateofexpirationof thecard.
The Police Chief shall charge a one time fee of twent.y-five dollars($25)to help defray the costs of screening any applicant for anidentificationcardandlicense,and he may in addition to any otherfeeschargetheapplicanttheactualcostofthecard.All identificationcardsshallexpireonthethirty-first day of December of each year.
All identification cards shall remain the property of the city.When
a holder of an identification card leaves the employment of a securityagency,said holder shall immediately surrender his identificationcardandforwarditimmediatelytothePoliceChief.The formeremployeemaythenreapplyforanidentificationcarduponemploymentwithanothersecurityagencylicensedbythecity.
Section 2.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days afteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
