ANORDINANCEPROHIBITINGTHE OFF-ROADOPERATIONOF MOTOR
VEHICLESANOMOTORIZEDBICYCLESIN THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE
THECITY COUNCILOF THECITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 9.14 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitTed "Off-Road
Operation of Motor Vehicles and Motorized Bicycles"is here established as follows:
9.14.010 Prohibiting the Operation of Motor Vehicles and Motorized Bicycles:i It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle ormotorizedbicycleincludingbutnotlimitedtoautomobiles,pick-up
trucks,motorcycles,ditt bikes,off-road vehicles,and motorizedbicyclesofanytypeonanypropertyintheCityofMosesLakeforrecreationalpleasureunlesstheareawherethevehicleisoperated ispavedwithahardsurfacesuchasconcreteorasphalt.Operating amotorvehicleormotorizedbicycleonanydesignatedroadway,highway,street,alley,or sidewalk of the City of Moses Lake within the bound-
aries of the municipality or on one's own private property is herebyspecificallyexcludedfromthissection.
9.14.020 Penalty:A violation of this section shall be punishable as definedinChapter1.08 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code.
Section 2.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days afteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
