AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGTITLE 17 OF THEMOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCDDEENTITLEDSUBDIVISIONORDINANCEBYAMENDINGCHAPTEN17.13 ENTITLED"SHORTSUBDIVISIONS",CHAPTER17.17 ENTITLED"MAJORSUBDIVISIONS",ANDCHAPTER17.26 ENTITLED"BINDINGSITEPLAN"
THE CITY COUNCILOF THECITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON00 ORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
I Section 1.Chapter 17.13 of the Moses Lake Municpal Code entitled "Short Subdivi-sions"is amended to read as follows:
17.13.030 Preliminary Plat Conditions and Requirements:
B.Specific Conditions and Requirements:
5.The preliminary plat shall contain the following:
i.Horizontal scale of the proposed plat shall be one hun-dred feet (100')to the inch.Except that the City En-gineer,subject to a request prior to plat submittal,mayapproveanalternativeplatmapscalenottoexceedonehundredfeet(100')to the inch.
m.A vicinity map at a scale of not more than four hundredfeet(400')to the inch.Except that the City Engineer,subject to a request prior to plat submittal,may approveanalternativevicinitymapscaleexceedingfourhundredfeet(400')to the inch.The vicinity map shall show alladjacentparcels.It shall show how the streets and al-le.ys in the proposed subdivision may connect with exist-ing and proposed streets and alleys in neighboring sub-divisions or unplatted property to produce an advan-tageous development of the entire neighborhood.
17.13.110 Final Short Subdivision Plat Application:
B.Specific Requirements:
1.The final plat shall clearly show the following information:
k.A vicinity sketch map of not more than four hundred feet(400')to the inch.Except that the City Engineer,sub-ject to a request prior to plat submittal,may approve analternativevicinitymapscaleexceedingfourhundredfeet(400')to the inch.
3.The scale of the final plat shall be one hundred feet (100')to the inch.Except that the City Engineer,subject to arequestpriortoplatsubmittal,may approve an alternativeplatmapscalenottoexceedonehundredfeet(100')to theinch.
Section 2.Chapter 17.17 of the Moses Lake Municpal Code entitled "Major Subdivi-sions"is amended to read as follows:

Section 3.Chapter 17.26 of the Moses Lake Muniepal Code entitled "Binding Site
Plan"is amended to read as follows:
17.26.020 Binding Site Plan Conditions and Requirements:
B.Specific Conditions and Requirements:
11.The Binding Site Plan shall contain the following:
q.The scale of the binding site improvement plan shall be
one hundred feet (100')to the inch.Except that the
City Engineer,subject to a request prior to binding site
plan submittal,may approve an alternative binding site
plan map scale not to exceed one hundred feet (100')to
the inch.
u.A vicinity map at a scale of not more than four hundred
feet (400')to the inch.Except that the City Engineer,
subject to a request prior to binding site plan submit-
tal,may approve an alternative vicinity map scale ex-ceeding four hundred feet (400')to the inch.The
vicinity map shall show all -adjacet parcels.It shall
show how the streets and alleys in the proposed Binding
Site Plan may connect with existing and proposed streets
and alleys in neighboring subdivisions or unplatted prop-
erty to produce an advantageous development of the entire
neighborhood.
Section 4.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its
passage and publication as provided by law.
