AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGMOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODECHAPTER5.40 ENTITLED"TAXICABS"
THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE;WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Moses Lake Municipal Code Section 5.40.110 is amended to provide
as follows:I 5.40.110 License Fees:
A.The license fees for a taxicab company and taxicab driversshallbeandarefixedintheamountshowninthefollowingscheduleandshallbepaidannuallyinadvancewithforty dol-lars ($40)of the taxicab company fee collected and five dol-lars ($5)of the taxicab driver's license fee collected to beusedfortheemploymentofaMosesLakeDevelopmentCoordina-tor (or similar title)
Taxicab Company $75.00TaxicabDriver's License $10.00
The taxicab company fee of $75 shall be for the years 1985 and1986andshallrevertto$35 for subsequent years.
The taxicab driver's license fee of $10 shall be for the years1985and1986andshallrevertto$5 for subsequent years.
B.The license fee for a taxicab shall be the same as the busi-
ness license fee charged other businesses in the City of MosesLake.
I C.All licenses shall expire on the 31st day of December of each
year and no reduction in the fee for such licenses shall bemadeforanypartialyear.No license shall be transferable.All licenses will be renewed through the City Clerk with thepaymentoftheyearlyfees.
Section 2.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)daysafteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
