AN ORDINANCEPROVIDINGFORTHEANNEXATIONOF CERTAIN ff TyTERRITORYTOTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONANDINCORPORATINGTHESAMEWITHINTHECORPORATELIMITS BE UTYTHEREOFANDPROVIDINGFORTHEASSUMPTIONOFEXISTING""¯¯~¯INDEBTEDNESS
THECITYCOUNCILOF THECITY OFMOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That the following described real estate situated in Grant County,non-contiguous to the City of Moses Lake but intended to be used for municipalpurposesandwhichtheCityofMosesLakehasanownershipinterestinisherebyannexedtoandincorporatedintheCityofMosesLake:
A parcel of land in the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section _16;Town-ship 19 North Range 29 East,Willamette Meridian Grant County,Washington;described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of Section 16;Township 19North;Range 29 East;Willamette Meridian;which point is also thesouthwestcornerofFarmUnit81;Second Revision of IrrigationBlock41,Columbia Basin Project;as per plat filed September 29,1953 Records of Grant County,Washington,thence south 89006'27"east 30.00 feet;thence north 00053'30"east;40.00 feet to thenorthright-of-way line of Wheeler Road;thence continuing north00053'30"east;30.00 feet to the point of beginning;thence north0053'30"east,150.00 feet;thence south 89006'27"east 150.00feet;thence south 00053'30"west;150.00 feet;thence north89006'27"west,150.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2.There shall be no requirement to asume any portion of existingcityindebtednesbytheareaannexed.No property herein annexed shall bereleasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannexation.
Section 3.A copy of this ordinance;together with a copy of the officialplatofsaidterritorytobeannexedtotheCityofMosesLakeshall.be filedwiththeBoardofCountyCommissionersofGrantCounty,Washington and theoriginalplatofsaidterritoryshallbefiledwiththeGrantCountyAuditorinthesamemannerrequiredbylaw.
Section 4.The city's Comprehensive Plan shall be adopted for the area hereinannexed.
Section 5.That the annexed real estate described in Section 1 herein isherebyzonedPublicasshownonthemapsonfilewiththeCityClerk.
Section 6.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)daysatteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
