1179_00001ORDINANCENO.1179 AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER18.09 OF THEMOSESLAKE MUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"ZONINGDISTRICTSANDMAP" THE CITY COUNCILOF THECITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS: Section 1.Chapter 18.09 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Zoning i Districts and Map"is hereby amended as follows: 18.09.010 Zoning District Classifications:For the purposes of this title,the city is divided into the following districts: "Ag"-Agricultural "R-1"-Residential,Single Family "R-2"-Residential,Single Family and Duplex "R-3"-Residential,Multi-Family "MH"-Mobile Home Subdivision "C-1"-Central Business District "C-2"-General Commercial and Business "L-I"-Light Industrial "M-I"-Medium Industrial "H-I"-Heavy Industrial i "C-R"-Conservation and Reclamation "P"-Public 18.09.020 Zoning Map Adopted:The city adopts in its entirety the 1976 com-prehensive zoning map as the official zoning map for the city in compliance with the intent of RCWChapter 35.63 as adopted andhereafteramended. 18.09.025 Zoning Map Amendment:All the existing property zoned I-1,In- dustrial,as of November9,1981 be changed from its existing I-1, Industrial Zone,to L-I,Light Industrial. 18.09.026 Zoning Map Amendment:All the existing property zoned C-4,HighwayCommercial,as of July 23,1985 be changed from its existing C-4, Highway Commerical Zone to C-2,General Commerial and Business Zone. 18.09.030 Zone Boundaries: A.Zone boundaries,unless otherwise indicated,are lot lines orthecenterlineofstreetsandalleysasshownontheofficial Zoning Map.Where the street layout actually on the ground varies from that shown on the Zoning Map,the designations i shown on the map shall be applied to the streets as actually laid out so as to carry out the intent and purposes of thistitle.Where the location of the zone boundaries are shown ontheZoningMaptobeotherthanstreet,alley,or lot lines,the depth of the zone shall be the same as that measured byscaleontheofficialZoningMap. B.If a boundary line cuts a property having a single ownership as of record at the time of the passage of the ordinancecodifiedinthistitle,the property may be used in confor- mance with the zoning designations and boundaries as shown ontheofficialZoningMap.A property owner in this case mayappealtothePlanningCommissionforavariancetopermithim to apply the less restrictive zone to all bis property.
