AN ORDINANCEANNEXINGCERTAINSPECIFIED TERRITORYTO THECITYOFMOSESLAKE;WASHINGTON;ANDINCORPORATINGTHESAMEWITHINTHECORPORATELIMITSOFTHECITYOFMOSESLAKEANDWHICHPROVIDESFORTHEASSUMPTIONOFEXISTINGINDEBTEDNESSANDESTABLISHESTHEZONING
I THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The following described real estate situated in Grant County con-tiguous to the City of Moses lake is hereby annexed to and incorporggd in theity-of Moses Lake:
That portion of the NW1/4 of Section 14 and the NE 1/4 of Section15;Township 19 North Range 28 East Willamette Meridian;GrantCounty;Washington;described as follows:
Beginning at a point north 89019'30"west 260.01 feet of the north-east corner.of Tract #5;Park Orchards Tract;as recorded in GrantCounty;thence south 0014'30"West a distance of 110 feet;thencesouth14030"41"east a distance of 95.03 feet;thence south0056'08"west a distance of 166.72 feet;to the northerly right-of-way line of Washington State Sign Route 17;thence south to thesoutherlyright-of-way line of Highway 11G to the existing citylimitsofMosesLake;thence easterly along the existing city limitboundaryasdescribedinOrdinances248and854whichiswithinoralongthesoutherlyright-of-way of Washington State Highway 17 tothewesterlyboundaryoftheBurlingtonNorthernRailroad;thencenortherlyalongthewesterlyboundaryoftherailroadright-of-waytothesoutherlyboundaryofKinderRoad;thence westerly along thesoutherlyboundaryofKinderRoadtothepointofbeginning.
I Section 2.All property within the territory annexed shall hereinafter bearsessedanftaxethatagamewithinthecitytopayforanyoutstandingindebtednessoftheCityofMosesLakecontractedpriortoorexistingatthedateofannexation.No propertyhereinannexedshallbereleasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannexation.
Section 3.That a copy of_this ordinance;together with a copy of the offi-cial plat of said territor.y to be annexed to the City of Moses Lake shall befiledwiththeBoardofCountyCommissionersofGrantCounty;Washington andtheoriginalplatofsaidterritoryshallbefiledwiththeCountyAuditorinthemannerrequiredbylaw.
Section 4.That the annexed real estate described in Section 1 herein iszonedU-2,General Commercial and Business.
Section 5.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)daysafteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
