AN DRDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER2.48 OF THEMOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"PLANNINGCOMMISSION"
THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Section 2.48.015 of Chapter 2.48 of the Moses Lake Municipal Codeientitled"Planning Commission"is created as follows:
2.48.015 Removal:A member may be removed for cause during his or her termuponarecommendationfromtheMayorandtheaffirmativemajorityvoteoftheCityCouncilsittingwithaquorum.If a memberisabsentfromfour(4)meetings per year without excuse,excusesbeingpermittedforpersonalorfamilyillnessandvacations,causeexistsforremoval.The member wishing to be excused from a meet-ing must notify the secretary to the Planning Commission prior tothemeeting.The absence shall be announced and the reason there-for at the time roll call is taken at the meeting and shall be re-corded as excused in the minutes of the meeting,if minutes aretaken.
Section 2.The City Council declares that an emergency exists and this or-dinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage andpublicationasprovidedbylawupononereadingif2/3 of the entire CityCouncilpresentvoteinfavorofpassage.
