ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER18.43 OF THEMOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"M-I,MEDIUMINDUSTRIALZONE"
THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chaper 18.43 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "M-I,Medi-
I um Industrial Zone"is amended as follows:
18.43.030 Uses Within the M-I Zone:For the purpose of clarification,thefollowingprincipalusesamongthemanypossibleusesmaybeper-mitted in the M-I zone subject to the provisions of this chapterandanyconditionsimposedbythePlanningCommission:
A.Medium industrial uses
B.Light industrial,commercial or retail business uses in Com-pliance with the provisions of this chapter desiring to locate
in a less restrictive zone.
C.The cultivation of land for agricultural products,vineyards,gardening and fruit growing and the keeping of livestock,poultry,rabbits,and bees in accordance with Chapter 18.13 ofthistitleprovidedthatnobuildingsorstructuresshallbeerectedofapermanentnatureforhumanhabitationotherthanprovidedinSection18.43.030 E of this chapter.
D.Administrative and office facilities for the accommodation ofprofessionalandtechnicalstaffwhichareindependentfrom
what are generally recognized as being supportive of primary
uses (i.e.Corporate law firms,engineering firms,accounting
firms,consultants,and technical service agencies).
I E.Dwelling units for the convenience of a resident watchman orcustodian.Dwelling units as an appurtenant use to theprimaryuse.
F.Accessory uses appurtenant to any primary use.
G.Essential public services and utilities.
H.Parks and commercial or non-commercial recreational use.
I.Private or public ground transportation systems.
J.On-site hazardous waste treatment and storage facilities incompliancewiththeperformancestandardsoftheStateofWashingtonsitingcriteriaforon-site hazardous waste treat-ment and storage facilities and the requirements of this chap-ter;provided that,on-site hazardous waste treatment andstoragefacilitiesareaccessorytoandsubordinatetoaprimaryusewhichisageneratorofhazardouswaste.
Section 2.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)daysafteritspassageandpublicationasprovidedbylaw.
