SECTION 1.GENERALFUND 000:To increase the beginning fund balance by$135,000and transfer the same to Fund 277 for Debt Service.To increase thebeginningfundbalanceby$140,000and transfer same to Accident Insurance Fundi503.To transfer $10,454 of Salaries and fringes in the Parks Department 020,totheStreetDepartmenttooffsetParksemployeestimewhoworkedintheStreetDepartment115OfFund116.The beginning fund balance (actual)is higher thanthebeginningfundbalanceanticipatedatthetimeofsettingthe1989budget.

SECTION5.WORKMAN'SCOMPENSATIONFUND502:To budget the ending fund balanceintheWorkman's compensationFund as a residual equity transfer and transfersametotheAccidentInsuranceFund#503 as the receipt of a residual equitytransfer.The City has found it to be financial impractical to self insure forWorkman's compensation.This ordinance will close the Workman's CompensationifundandremoveitasanactivefundfromtheCity's chart of accounts.
