ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER18.16 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"R-1,SINGLE FAMILYRESIDENTIALZONE:
THE CITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 18.16 ofthe Moses LakeMunicipal Code entitled"R-1,SingleFamilyResidentialZone"is amended as follows:
18.16.030 Prohibited Uses:Any use not expresslypermitted outright or as a conditionaluse inthe R-1iZoneshallbeprohibited,including but not limited to the following examples:
A.Abandoned sheds or buildings in a state ofdisrepair
B.Commercialuses except as providedin Section 18.16.020 (B).
C.Two family or multi-familydwellingunitstructures except as provided for in Section18.16.020 A.1.c.
D.Keepingof livestock,poultry,rabbits or bees
E.Industrial uses
F.Occupancy of trailersor recreationalvehicles
G.Public nuisances
H.Removal of soil or other natural materialsfor the purpose of sale or use as fillmaterialexceptthatexcavationforthepurposeofconstructionorlandscapingispermitted.
1.Outside storage,collection,or dumping ofdismantled,partlydismantled,or wreckedvehicles,trallers,machinery,or their parts.
J.Outside storage or collection ofany junk,scrap,garbage,unsightly material,litter,ordebris.
K.Manufactured homesiL.Locating any sea or ocean-going containers which can be detached from a trailer,chas-sis,or frame and whichwere formerly used for transporting sea or ocean-going cargo,railroad cars and cabooses,semi-trailers when intendedto be used as storage facilitiesoranyotherunitwhichdetachesfromatrailer,chassis,or frame including car,truck,or vanbodiesorpartsofbodieswhenintendedtobeusedasstoragefacilitiesorthelike.
Section2.This ordinance shall take effectand be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationasprovidedbylaw.
