AN ORDINANCE VACATINGA PORTIONOF THE OLD MOSESLAKE-EPHRATAHIGHWAYADJACENTTOVISTACORNERPLAT
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.A portionof the old Moses Lake-EphrataHighwayadjacent to Vista CornerPlat and the KnollsVistaPlat,described as follows,shallbe vacated,except a 15'easement shall be retained for municipal
purposes adjacent tothe remainingcity right-of-way and the cityshall retainthe rightto grant easementsover,under,and across the area for whichan easement is retained:
Apart ofthe NE 1/4 ofthe SE 1/4 of Section 15,Township19 North,Range28 EWMbeingapartoftheoldEphrata/Moses Lake Highway described as follows:
Commencingattheeast 1/4 cornerofsaidsection 15;thence north89°51'56"west on the east-west centerline of said Section 15 a distance of 388.85 feet;thence south 00°05'19"west adistanceof31.65 feet to the true point of beginning;thence continuesouth 00°05'19"west adistanceof26.52 feet;thence in a southeasterlydirection on a curveto the right with a radiusof552.92 feet,a delta angle of 59°01'17"for an arc length of 569.57 feet,(thechord of whichbearssouth40°26'32"east a distance of 544.72feet)to the west right-of-waylineof StratfordRoad;thence north 00°05'19"east on the said west right-of-wayline a distance of 92.92 feet;
thence in a northwesterly direction on a curve to the left with a radius of 577.92 feet,a dettaangleof5050'20"for an arc length of 512.79feet,(thechord of which bears north 45°25'43"west a distance of 496.13 feet)to the true pointof beginning.
Section 2:The cityshall be compensated for one halfthe appraised value of the vacated property.Thevacationshallnotbecomeeffectiveuntiltherequiredcompensationisreceivedbythecity.
Section3.This ordinance shall take effectand be in force five (5)days afterits passage and publication
as provided by law.
