AN ORDINANCEVACATINGAPORTION OF COMMERCIALAVENUE
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.A portionofCommercialAvenue described as follows,shallbe vacated.
That portionof Section 14 Township 19 North,Range 28 EWMdescribed as follows:
Beginning at the intersection ofthe centerline of Broadway and the centerlineof ChestnutStreetoftheCityofMosesLake,Washington,as shown on the Plat of Neppel,filed October 15,1912.
Thence,north 53°42'00"east,a distance of 40 feet along the centerlineof Broadway;thence,
north 36°18'00"west,a distance of220.11 feet;thence,north44°45'45"east,a distance of 100
feet;thence,south 37.12'59"east,a distance of 60.58 feet to the true point ofbeginning;thence,
continuing south 37°12'59"east,a distance of 15.07 feet;thence south 36*18'00"east,adistanceof5.14 feet to a pointonthe southeasterlyright-of-wayof CommercialAvenue,thence,north 44°45'45"east,along said right-of-way a distance of 202.24 feet to a point on thesouthwesterlyright-of-way of Date Street;thence,north 36°18'00"west,a distance of 20.25 feet;
thence,south 44°45'45"west,a distance of202.00 feet to the true pointof beginning.
Describing a strip of land 20 feet wide,lying northwest and adjacentto the southeasterly right-of-
way of CommercialAvenue containing0.0928 acres more or less.
Section 2:The city shall be compensated for one half the appraised valueof the vacated property.Thevacationshallnotbecomeeffectiveuntiltherequiredcompensationisreceivedbythecity.
Section 3.This ordinance shalltake effectand be inforce five (5)days after its passage and publication
as provided by law.
