Recitals:
1.The assessment roli levying the special assessments against properties located in SidewalkImprovementDistrictNo.2 in the City of Moses Lake,Washington,created under Resolution No.
1469 has been filed with the CityClerkof the City of Moses Lake as provided by law.
2.Notice ofthe time and place ofthe hearing on the assessment roll and for providingcommentsand/or making objectionsto said roll was duly publishedat and for the time and in the mannerprovidedbylaw,fixingthe time and place of hearingallcomments and/or objections for October
9,1990 at 8 p.m.inthe CouncilChambers in the Police/Court Facility,Moses Lake,Washington,
and furthernotice ofthe hearing was dulymailedbythe Finance Directorwhoacts as the CityClerk
to each property owner shown on said roll.
3.At the time and place fixed and designated in said notice the hearing was duly held and a1\
comments and/or objectionsmade inwriting were read and submitted to the CityCounciland werebyitconsidered,

O Section 1.The assessments and assessment rollofSidewalkImprovement District No.2 whichhas been
created and establishedforthe purpose of payingthe cost of improvingNeppelPlat,BlockF,Lots 6 -12;Block G,Lots 1 -12 and the westerly five feet (5')ofthevacated portionof DivisionStreetadjacent to Lot
1;and Block H as they front on BroadwayAvenue,Lots 1 -4 ofBlock 21 as they front on Broadway Avenue,
Lot 1 of Block 21 as itfronts on Division Street,Lots 1 -12 of Block 26 as theyfront on Broadway Avenue,
Lot1 of Block26 as Itfronts on DMeionStreet,Lot12 of Block26 as itfrontson AshStreet,Lots 1 -12 ofBlock31astheyfrontonBroadway,the south fiftyfeet (50')of Lot 1 of Block 31 as it fronts on Ash,and
Lot 12 of Block 31 as itfronts on Beech Street in the Cityof Moses Lake as the same now stands,be and
the same as hereby in all things and respects approved and confirmed.
Section 2.That each of the lots,tracts,parcels of land and other property shown upon the said roll be
hereby determined and declared to be speciallybenefitted by said improvements in at least the amountchargedagainstthesameandtheassessmentappearingagainstthesameisinproportiontotheseveralassessmentsappearinguponsaidroll.There is levied and assessed against each lot,tract,parcelofland
and other property appearing upon said rollthe amount finallycharged against the same thereon.
Section 3.The assessment rollas approved and confirmed shall be filed with the Finance Director oftheCityofMosesLakewhoactsasTreasurerforcollection.The CityCouncil,by separate resolution,shall
provide the manner inwhich the assessment shallbe paidand shallprescribe the timeand amount of such
payments.The resolution shall also provide for interest on the unpaid installments and shallfixthe rate ofinterestontheunpaidinstallments.
Section 4.This ordinance shalltake effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publication
as provided by law.
