ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER18.22 OF THE MOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"R4,MULTI-FAMILYRESIDENTIALZONE"
THECITYCOUNCIL OFTHECITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section I.Chapter 18.22 ofthe MosesLakeMunicipalCode entitled"R-3,Multi-Family Residential2one"is amended as follows:
18.22.200 Fences,Walle,M Hadr¡ns:
A.Fences,walls,and hedges shallnotexceed four feet (4')above finished ground level inanyfrontyardorcomerlotexteriorsideyardnorexceedeightfeet(8')on any interior side orrearyard.
B.Electric fences and barbed wirefences shall be prohibited.
C.An Installation permit shall be required for the construction,erection,or Installation of afence,wall,or screeningplantings.AIIpermitapplicationsshall be reviewed and approvedbytheBuildingOfficialandtheCityEngineerforvehicularandpedestriansafety.Fencesandwallsexceedingsixfeet(6')in height are regulated by the UniformBuilding Code andrequireabuildingpermit.
D.SubdivisionFencing:
1.SubdMsionfencing,walls,or screening plantingsmay be allowed as a conditionalusesubjecttotherevlewandapprovalofthePlanningCommission.
2.Asubdivisionmay be enclosedpartiallyor entirelywitha permanentlymaintainedouterperimeterfence,.wall,or screening plantingsorcombinationthereofnotto exceed eight
feet (8')in heightand tapering to no higherthan four feet (4')at street intersectionsand/or subdivisionentrances.
3.Allapplicationsfor subdivisionfencing,walls,or screening plantingsshallbe reviewedbytheBuildingOfficialandtheCityEngineerforvehicularandpedestriansafety.TheBuildingOfficialandtheCityEngineershallrecommendtothePlanningCommissionthattheapplicationbeapproved,conditionallyapproved,or denied.
Section 2.This ordinance shalltake effectand be inforce five (5)days after its passage and pubilcation
as providedby law.
