A RESOLUTION ALLOWING HURST-BAKER, LLC. TO BUILD ON
UNPLATTED PROPERTY OWNED BY HURST-BAKER, LLC.
RECITALS:
1. Moses Lake Municipal code 16.02.040 allows for issuance of a building permit to a
proponent who wishes to build on unplatted property after a resolution from the City
Council.
2. Hurst-Baker, LLC. has requested the City Council to allow him to build on unplatted
property owned by Hurst-Baker, LLC. described as follows:
POR NENE 28 19 28 Tract B of Boundary Line Adjustment/Record of Survey recorded under
Auditor's File Number 1369569, in Book 74 of Surveys, at Pages 79-80, records of Grant
County, Washington and described as follows: A portion of the Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 28, Township 19 North, Range 28 E.W.M., Grant County,
Washington, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Subdivision;
thence South 89°55'50" East along the South line of said Subdivision, 450.00 feet; thence
North 00°23'55" East, 255.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing
North 00°23'55" East, 210.00 feet; thence North 89°55'50" West, parallel with the South
line of said Subdivision, 234.94 feet to the East right of way line of Marina Drive as
described in Quit Claim Deeds recorded under Auditor's File Numbers 16690 and 37576;
thence South 22°55'42" West, along said East right of way line of Marina Drive as described
in said Quit Claim Deeds recorded under Auditor's Fi le Numbers 16690 and 37576, 227.89
feet to a point which bears North 89°55'50" West from the True Point of Beginning; thence
South 89°55'50" East, parallel with said South line of said Subdivision, 322.26 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. EXCEPT the following described parcel: Beginning at the
Southwest corner of said Subdivision; thence South 89°55'50" East, along the South line
of said Subdivision, 450.00 feet; thence North 00°23'55" East, 395.07 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing North 00°23'55" East, 69.93 feet; thence North
89°55'50" West, parallel with said South line of said Subdivision, 104.22 feet; thence South
22°58'30" West, 24.00 feet; thence South 67°01'21" East, 122.85 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING.
RESOLVED:
1. That Hurst-Baker, LLC , be allowed to construct a four-plex on unplatted property owned
by Hurst-Baker, LLC, on the property descried above. The permission granted is to run
with the land .
2. The property to be platted within one year of approval.
Adopted by the City Council on December 12, 2017.
