3720 Designated Claims AgentRESOLUTION NO 3720
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON DESIGNATING AN AGENT TO RECEIVE CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES
RECITALS: 1.State law requires that a claim for damages against a municipality be presented to and filed with thegoverning body of the local government entity: and
2.RCW 4.96.020 requires that each local government appoint an identified agent to receive claims fordamages and record with the county auditor the identity and address of the agent where he or she maybe reached during the normal business hours of the local government entity.
RESOLVED:
1.Resolution 2573 is hereby repealed.
2.The City Clerk is hereby designated as the agent to receive claims for damages filed against theCity of Moses Lake.
3.All claims for damages filed against the City of Moses Lake shall be presented to the City Clerk atthe City of Moses Lake, 401 S Balsam St. Moses Lake, WA 98837.
4.A copy of this resolution shall be filed for recording with the Grant County Auditor's Office.
