3927 Fee Schedule AmendRESOLUTION 3927 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON AMENDING THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE 2023 FEE SCHEDULE Recitals: 1. In connection with the municipal functions and operations of the City of Moses Lake, the City requires certain fees; and 2. It is appropriate to review such fees and adjust appropriately address costs; and 3. In keeping with the philosophy of setting City fees in amounts reflective of actual costs, it is appropriate at this time to revise certain fees to compensate the City for costs associated with various City functions and facilities. 4. Council approved annual increases with the adoption of Resolution 3923 on November 22, 2022. 5. Council approved an amendment of Water Rights in Lieu of Fee with the adoption of Resolution 3925 on December 13, 2022. Now, Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE: Section 1. The following items will be corrected on the 2023 Fee Schedule: Fire Permit (Hazardous Material)Extremely Hazardous Substances, highly toxic, toxic, & pyrophoric materials of any amount $1,102.50 Fire Permit (Hazardous Material)Marijuana Extraction Systems/ Facilities $689.00 Fire Permit (Hazardous Material)Temporary membrane structures and tents exceeding 400 square feet $166.00 Fire Plan Check Plan review fees - (% of total permit fee)70% Ambulance Utility Rate Index CPI Adjustment for Ambulance Utility per Utility Account (rounded to closes $.05)$14.45 Section 2. The following items will be amended on the 2023 Fee Schedule: Citywide Administrative Facility – IT set up & instructions on basic equipment use (per hour) $50 30.00 Citywide Administrative Facility Renter Commercial Sales for Non-Profits and those exempt from obtaining a city business license. 15 10 % of gross sales Section 4. Severability. If any sections, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Resolution shall be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, or its application held inapplicable to any person, property or circumstance, such invalidity or unconstitutionality or inapplicability shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Resolution or its application to any other person, property or circumstance.
