1521_00001ORDINANCENO.1521 AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 10.12 OF THEMOSESLAKEMUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED"PARKINGREGULATIONS" THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS: Section 1.Chapter 10.12 ofthe Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled"Parking Regulations"is amended asfollows: 10.12.020 Parking Prohibited During Special Events:When signs are erected ineach blockgiving noticethereof,no person shall park a vehicle between hours specifiedand on the date specified onsuchsignserectedforspecialeventsuponanystreetwheresignsareerected.Anyvehicleparkedinviolationofthepostedparkingprohibitionshallbetowedattheownersexpense. 10.12.030 Parking Signs Required:Whenever by this chapter or any other ordinance or resolution,ororderofthecitytrafficengineeranyparkingtimelimitisimposedorparkingisprohibitedondesignatedstreets,appropriate signs shall be erected giving notice thereof,and no suchregulationsshallbeeffectiveunlesssaidsignsareerectedandinplaceatthetimeofanyal-leged offense,except the provisions of RCW 46.61.571 (1)(c)JIvl. 10.12.035 Restricted Parkinq Areas: A.Parking shall be prohlbitedat all times on the following named streets: Street Limits Pioneer Way Third Avenue to SR 17 except for the following locations:1. Beginning275 feet south of Third Avenue and ending 500 feet south of Third Avenue on the west side.2.Beginning 275 feet south of FIfthAvenue and ending970 feet south ofFifthAvenue onthewestside. BroadwayAvenue Melva Laneto 1-90 BroadwayAvenue Balsam Street to AlderStreet on the north side. Broadway Avenue Adjacent to area of property at Third and Broadway. Street Limits Beech Street Beginning 20 feet from the curb pointoftangency on the northerly comer of Beech Street at FIfth Avenue and extending 30 feet northwesterlyalongthe easterly side of Beech Street Third Avenue Beginning 100 feet from the curb point of tangency on the north- easterly corner of Third Avenue at Elder Street and extending 50 feet northeasterly along the northerlyside ofThird Avenue. Northshore Drive Beginning 110 feet from the curb pointof tangency on the north- westerly corner of NorthshoreDiveat Mattson Driveand extending 40 feet southwesterlyalong the northerlysideofNorthshore Drive. E.Parking shall be prohibited betweenthe hours of 6 p.m.and 6 a.m.on thefollowing named street: Parking lot on the northerly side of E.Broadway Avenue between Balsam Street and the gintersectionofBroadwayAvenueandPioneerWay.(Adjacent to the southeasterly line of W Block D,Plat of Neppel,Grant County,Washington.) F.Parking shall be prohibited at all times upon the following named street except for legally designated handicapped vehicles: Street Limits A Street Beginningat a point212'west of the centerlineintersection of A Street and Lakeside Driveto a point 258'west of the centerline intersection of A Street and Lakeside Drive. Section2.The CityCouncil declares that an emergency exists and this ordinanceshalltake effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationas providedby law upon one reading il2/3 of theentireCityCouncilpresentvoteinfavorofpassage.
