AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 13.04 OF THE MOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"SEWER REGULATIONS"
THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 13.04 ofthe Moses Lake MunicipalCode entitled "SewerRegulations"is amended asfollows:
13.04.170 Applicationfor Permit-Fee;
A.There shallbe two classes for buildingsewer permits:one for residential and commercialservice,and one for serviceto establishmentsproducing industrial wastes.In either case,the owner or his agent shall make applicationfor sewer serviceon a form fumished by thecity.The permitapplicationshall be supplemented by any plans,specifications,or otherinformationconsideredpertinentInthejudgmentoftheBuildingOfficialorhisorherdesignee.Atthe time an applicationfor sewer service is filed withthe city,theapplicantshallpayapermitassetforthintheapplicableUniformPlumbingCodeforaresidential,commercial,or industrialbulldingsewer permit,Inaddition,an applicantfor a commercialoranindustrialbuildingsewerpermitwhichisdefinedasaservicewhichdischargesindustrialwastetothecity's sanitary sewer system shall pay at the time of applicationforthepermitthecostofInvestigatingthepermitapplicationandInspectingtheservice.SuchpermitshallnqtbeIssueduntilthefullamountoftheInvestigationandinspectionfeeasestimatedandprovidedbytheMunicipalServicesDirectorhasbeenpaid.
B.The applicant for the building sewer permitshall notifythe Building Officlalor his designeeofthecitywhenthebuildingsewerIsreadyforinspectionandconnectiontothepublicsewer.The connectionshall be inspected by the BuildingOfficialor his or her designee.
Section 2.This ordinance shalltake effectand be in force five (5)days afterits passage and publicationasprovidedbylaw.
