AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 18.14 OF THE MOSESLAKEMUNICIPAL
CODE ENTITLED"RR,RURALRESIDENTIALZONE"
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 18.14 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "RR,Rural Residential Zone"isamendedasfollows:
0 18.14.020 PermittedUses:Hereafter in the RuralResidential Zone no building,structure,or land shall beusedandnobuildingorstructureshallbeerected,altered,enlarged,or intendedto be used for
any other thanthe following outright permitted uses or as a conditional use.Outrightpermitted
uses or conditional uses in the Rural Residential Zone shall be in compliance withall perfor-
mance standards,conditions,and bulk regulations of this chapter.
A.OutrightPermitted Uses:
1.Single family detached dwelling unitsIncluding factory builthousing constructed to the
standards of the Uniform Building Code.
2.Any use which isincidentaland subordinate to the principaluse ofthe land or building;is located on the same lot with the principal use;and is not otherwiseprohibited.
3.Accessory buildingsand/or structures appurtenantto anypermitteduses incompliancewithSection18.14.040 of this chapter.
4.Cultivationof land for agricultural products,vine yards,gardening,and fruit growing.
5.Keeping of livestock,poultry,rabbits,and bees in accordance with Section 18.14.050
ofthis chapter.
6.Sellingofagriculturalproducts raised or grown on the premises.
7.Keeping of household pets (dogsand cats)notexceeding four (4)innumber which arefour(4)monthsold or older.O 8.Planned Development Districts in compliance with Chapter 18.67 of this title.
9.Home occupations in compliancewithChapter 18.55 of this title.
10.Parks and non-commercialrecreational uses.
11.An accessory dwellingunit intended to accommodate a member(s)of the immediatefamilyrequiringdailycare,supervision,or guardianship in compliance with Section18.14.200 of thischapter entitledResidential Density.
12.Other unmentioned uses ruled by the Planning Commission to be similar to andcompatiblewiththespecifiedpermitteduses,
B.ConditionalUses:The following uses may be permittedby the Planning Commission as aconditionaluseincompliancewiththeprovisionsofthischapterandChapter18.51 of thistitleentitledCondidonalandUnmentionedUses.
1.Cemeteries
2.Churches
3.Essential publicservices and utilitiesincluding buildings and structures.
4.GolfcoursesO5.Other unmentioned uses ruled by the Planning Commission to be a conditional useprovidedthattheuseshallbesimilartoandcompatiblewiththeexpressedpermittedandconditionaluses.
6.Schools
7.Stables,ridingacademies,and commercial dog kennels
Section 2.This ordinance shall take effectand be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
