AN ORDINANCEANNEXINGCERTAINSPECIFIED TERRITORYTOTHE CITYOF
MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON,AND INCORPORATINGTHESAMEWITHINTHECORPORATELIMITSOFTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,ANDWHICHPROVIDESFOR
THE ASSUMPTION OF EXISTINGINDEBTEDNESS AND ESTABLISHESTHEZONING
THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.Thefollowing described real estate situated in Grant County contiguous to the City of MosesLakeisherebyannexedtoandincorporatedIntheCityofMosesLake:O Maine:Lot 8,Golden Acres and the portionof Tract 51,Replat ofStade OrchardTracts as perAcreagePlats,page 40,being a portionof GovemmentLot 1,Section30,Township 19 North,Range 28,East,W.M.,Grant County,Washington described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly comer of Lot 8 of Golden Acres,as per platrecorded inVolume
6,page 37 of Plats,records of Grant County,thence North 65613'east 175 feet,more or less,to a point on the shoreline of Moses Lakehereby designated "A",beginningagain at the pointofbeginning,thence North 24 4T west along the northeasterly boundaryofthe right-of-wayofWestshoreDrive10feet;thence North 65*13'east 175 feet,more or less,to the shoreline ofMosesLake;thence southeasterly along said shoreline 10 feet to the point hereinbeforedesignated"A".
Hansen:That portion of the Replat of Tract 51 of the Replat of Stade Orchard Tracts,asrecordedinAcreageBookonPage40,February 2,1945,records ofGrantCounty,Washington,
and including the south 30 feet of that road vacated December 19,1960,by county OrdinanceNo.478,located adjacent to the north line of said Tract 51,lying in said Grant County,Washington,more particularlydescribed as:
Beginningat the most westerly corner of Lot8,of Golden Acres as recorded in Volume 6 onPage37ofPlats,records of Grant County;thence North 24*4T west along the northeasterlyboundaryoftheright-of-way of Westshore Drivea distance of 10 feet to the true point ofbeginning;thence north 85*13'east 175 feet to the original high water line of Moses Lake,saidpointherebybeingdesignated"A".Beginning again at the true pointof beginning;thence north2447'west along said right-of-wayboundary projected 204 feet,more orless,to the north lineofSectiony,þnship 19 North,Range 28 East thence_eastalong said section line 200 feet
more or less,to the originalhigh water line of Moses Lake;thence southeasterly along saidoriginalhighwaterline120feet,more or less to the pointhereinbefore designated "A".
Section2.AIIpropertywithin the territory annexed shallhereinafter be assessed and taxed at the same rateandonthesamerateandonthesamebasisasotherpropertywithinthecitytopayforanyoutstandingindebtednessoftheCityofMosesLakecontractedpriortoore×istingatthedateofannexation.Nopropertyhereinannexedshallbereleasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannexation.
Section 3.That a copy of this ordinance,together with a copy of the official plat of said territoryto beannexedtotheCityofMosesLakeshallbefiledwiththeBoardofCountyCommissionersofGrantCounty,Washington and the original plat of said territoryshall be flied with the County Auditor in the mannerrequiredbylaw.
Section4.That the annexed real estate describe in Section1 hereiniszoned R-1,SingleFamily ResidentiaL
Section 5.This ordinance shalltake effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitsordinanceasprovidedbylaw.
