ANORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 18.16OF THE MOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"R-1,SINGLE FAMILYRESIDENTIALZONE"
THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITYOF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 18.16 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "R-1,SingleFamily Residential2one"Is amended as follows:
O 18.16.240 Buildinq Heights:No building or structureshall exceedthirty feet (30')in height except that thefollowingstructuresmaybeerectedhigherthantheheightlimitrestrictions:
A.Churchspires,steeples,and belltowers
B.Church structures may exceed thirty feet (30')in height upon the grantingof a conditional
use permit by the Planning Commission.
C.Flag poles
D.Commercialradloand televisiontransmissiontowers
E.Water reservoirs
A structureallowed under this section shall remaina distance from the side propertylines notlessthanitshelght.
Section 2.Thisordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
