AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 13.12OF THE MOSESLAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"WATERANDSEWER RATES"
THE CITYCOUNCILOF THE CITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINASFOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 13.12of the Moses Lake MunicipalCode entitled "Water and SewerRates"is amended
as follows:
O 13.12.090 Water Usage -Fire Hydrants:Water delivered through fire hydrants associated with the city'swatersystemshallbebilledasfollows:
A.Fire hydrant meters provided by the city shall be used,when available,to measure theamountofwaterbeingdeliveredthroughthefirehydrant.Anyone receMng waterdelivered
through a fire hydrant shall pay four dollars ($4)per day for the water received through afirehydrantplusthecommercialratelistedinSection13.12.020 for waterdeliveredifa firehydrantmeter,provided by the city,is used to measure the amount of water delivered.If
no fire hydrant meter is availablefrom the city,anyone receivingwater from a fire hydrantshallpaysixdollars($6)per day for the water received through a fire hydrant.
B.The city shall pay,from its current expense fund to the water and sewer fund,the sum of
two dollars ($2)per fire hydrant per year as paymentfor water deliveredthroughthe firehydrantswithinthecitylimits.
Section 2.This oitlinance shall take effectand be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
