AN ORDINANCEAMENDINGCHAPTER 13.08 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPAL
CODE ENTITLED"WATERANDSEWER CONNECTIONS"
THE CITYCOUNCILOF THECITYOF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTONDOORDAINAS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 13.08 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled"Water and Sewer Connections"isamendedasfollows:
13.08.046 Main ConnectionCharges -HIqhway 17:
A.WaterserviceinstalledbytheCityof Moses Lakealong Highway 17 for propertydescribed
below,shall be reimbursed by the property owner upon property subdivision or upon
O requestto connect to city watet The reimbursement shall be a portion of the regular permit
fee forwater services as required by ordinance.The reimbursement amounts of the permit
fee shall be deposited to the 477 fund and the remaining portion of the permit fee shall be
placed in the Cityof Moses Lake water revenue fund.
1.The connection charge shall be assessed against the following property at a cost of
$14.07per front foot:
Those parcels of land in Section 25,Township19 North,Range 28 East Willamette
Meridian,lying easterlyofand abuttingthe following described line:
Commencingat thesouth 1/4 cornerofsaid section;thence south 89*19'20"east along
the south boundarylineof the southeast 1/4 lineof said section a distance of 110.46
feet;thence north 00'38'33"east a distance of30.00 feet to the northerly right-of-way
line of Kittleson Road and to the northeasterly right-of-way line of State Highway SR-17
and to the true pointof beginning;thence north 38•53'30"west along the northeasterly
right-of-way IIne of said highway a distance of 3,806.61 feet;thence on a 716.25 foot
radius curve concave to the northeast an are distance of 486.90 feet,the long chord of
said curve being north 19*25'00"west a distance of 477.59 feet;thence north 00*03'30"
east a distance of 1,916.04 feet to the southerly right-of-way line of Nelson Road and
to the terminusof the line beingdescribed,exceptthe SouthCampus Park Binding SitePlan.
2.The connection charge shall be assess'ed against the following property at a cost of
$0.00453per square foot:
O A portionof land in Sections 25,26,35 and 36,Township 19 North,Range 28,East
Willamette Meridlan,more particularlydescribed as follows:
The west 1/2 of Section 25 lyingsouth of a line660 feet north of Farm Unit123 and
northeasterlyofState HighwaySR-17,except the SouthCampus ParkBindingSitePlan;
together with:
The southerly 868.5 feet of the westerly 1,112.5 feet of the southwest 1/4 of thesoutheast1/4 of Section25;together with:
The west 1/2 ofSection 25 lyingsouthwesterlyofState Highway SR-17;together with:
The east 1/2 ofthe east 1/2 of Section26 lying southerly of a line 660 feet north ofthe
north boundary line of the southeast quarter ofSection 26;together with:
The east 1/2 of the northeast 1/4 of Section 35 lying north of State Highway I-90;together with:
The north 1/2 of Section 36 lying north of State Highway 1-90;except:
AIIthat land contained in allstate,county,and cityright-of-ways.
B.Water service Installed by the Cityof Moses Lake along Highway 17 for property describedbelow,shall be reimbursed by the property ownerupon request to connect to city water.The reimbursement shall be a portion of the regular permit fee for water servicesas requiredObyordinance.The reimbursementamounts of the permitfee shall be deposited to the 477fundandtheremainingportionofthepermitfeeshallbeplacedintheCityofMosesLake
water revenuefund.

Those parcels of land in Section 25,Township19 North,Range 28 East WillametteMeridian,lyingeasterly of and abuttingthe following described IIne:
Commencing at the northwestcornerofsaid section;thence south 89°20'00"east alongthenorthboundaryofsaidsection429.00 feet;thence south00°32'81"West 700.00 feet;thence north 89°20'00'west 279.00 feet to the east right-of-way of SR 17,and the truepointofbeginning;thence south OD*32'00"west along the east right-of-way of said SR
17 a distance of597.00 feet.

13.08.090 Main Connection Charges -InstalledAlonqNelson Road,CloverDrive,and West Broadway:
A.Water mains installed bythe Cityof Moses Lakealong Nelson Road,CloverDrive,and West
Broadwayfor propertydescribed below shall be reimbursed by the propertyowner uponpropertysubdivisionoruponrequesttoconnecttocitywater.The relmbursementshallbe
a portion of the regularpermit fee for water senrices as required by ordinance.The reim-
bursement amounts of the permitfee shallbe depositedto the 477 fund and the remaining
portion of the permit fee shall be placed in the Cityof Moses Lake waterrevenue fund.
1.The connectioncharge shall be assessed against the following property at a cost offive
dollars ($5.00)per front foot:
a.For the twelveinch (12")and fourteen inch (14")water main Installed on Nelson
Roadfrom CloverDriveto Reservoir #5,property abutting both sides of the street
right-of-way from Clover Driveto Reservoir 5 except,the South Campus Park
BindingSite Plan.
b.For the twelveinch (12")water main installed on CloverDrivefromWheelerRoad
to Well #11 by the CityofMoses Lakeabuttingthe west side ofCloverDrivefrom
Wheeler Road to Well 11 shall be reimbursedbythe propertyownerupon request
to connect to city water.The reimbursement shall be a portion of the regular
permit fee for water services as required by ordinance.The reimbursement
amounts of the permitfee shall be deposited to the 477 fund and the remaining
portion ofthe permitfee shall be placed in the Cityof Moses Lake water revenuefund.
c.For the ten inch (10")and twelve inch (12")water main installed along West
Broadway from a pointtwo hundred five feet (205')west of Interlake to Interstate
90,thence meandering along the north side of Interstate 90 to Montana Street,
thence along the west side of Montana Street to Well#31.
B.WatermainsInstalled by the Cityof MosesLakealong Nelson Road shallbe reimbursedby
the property owner upon request to connect to city water.The reimbursement shall be aportionoftheregularpermitfeeforwaterserviceasrequiredbycityordinance.The
reimbursement amounts of the permit fee shall be deposited to the 477 fund and the
remaining portionof the permitfee shallbe placed inthe Cityof Moses Lake water revenue
fund.

Section 2.This ordinance shalltake effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publication
