AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN SPECIFIED TERRITORY TOTHECITY
OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,AND INCORPORATINGTHE SAME WITHINTHECORPORATELIMITSOFTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,AND WHICH
PROVIDES FOR THE ASSUMPTION OF EXISTING INDEBTEDNESS ANDESTABLISHESTHEZONING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DOORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The following described real estate as shown on theattached map marked ExhibitA which by
thisreference is incorporatedwithin thisordinance,situated in Grant Countycontiguous to the City ofMosesLakeisherebyannexedtoandincorporatedintheCityofMosesLake:
That portionoftheSE¼ofSection 10,Township19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.and theNE¼of Section 15,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.described as follows:
Commencingat the northeastcorner.of said Section15 oridproceediB2 South .along theeasterlysectionlineandthenwesterly,perpendiculartotheeasterly lineofsaidSection 15 tothewesterlyright-of-wayof StratfordRoad and thesoutherlyright-of-wayof Kinder Road andtheTruePointofBeginning.
Thence continuing westerly along the southerly right-of-way of Kinder Road to a point whichintersectswiththenortheasterlyright-of-wayof S.R.17;thence northwesterlyalong thenortheasterlyright-of-wayof S.R.17 to the westerly line oftheSW¼SE¼of said Section 10;thencenortherly along thewesterlyline of the SW¼SE¼of said section tothe northerly lineoftheSW¼SE¼of said section;thenceeasterly alongthenortherlylineof theSW¼SE¼tothewesterlyright-of-wayof Longview Street;thencenortherly along thewesterly right-of-wayofsaidLongviewStreettothesouthwesterlyrailroadright-of-way as shown on the plat ofLongviewTractsSecondAddition,records of Grant County;thencesoutheasterly along thesaidsouthwesterlyrailroadright-of-way to a point whichintersects with the westerly right-of-

Section 2.AIIpropertywithin theterritoryannexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxedat thesamerateandonthesamebasisasotherpropertywithinthecitytopayforanyoutstandingindebtednessofOtheCity..ofMoseslake contEacted orior to.or existina at the dateof anne¥ation,No property herein ..annexed shall be released fromanyoutstandingindebtedness leviedagainst itpriortosaidannexation.
Section 3.That a copyof thisordinance shall be filed withthe Board of County Commissionersof GrantCounty,Washington.
Section 4.That the annexed real estate described in Section 1 herein is zoned R-2,Single Family andTwoFamilyResidential,and R-3,Multi-familyResidential,as illustrated on the map on filewith theFinanceDirector.
Section 5.This ordinance shall takeeffect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
Adopted by theCity Council and signed by its Mayor on April 11,1995.
