AN ORDINANCE AMENDINGCHAPTER 13.08 OF THE MOSESLAKEMUNICI-PAL CODEENTITLED "WATER AND SEWER CONNECTIONS"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 13.08 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Water and Sewer Connections"isamendedasfollows:
13.08.091 Water Connection Charges -1993 Street Improvement Project:The costs of thewater serviceconnectionsinstalledbytheCityofMosesLakeunderthe1993StreetImprovementProject
shall be assessed on the properties as listed below.The charge shall be paid uponapplicationforabuildingpermitoruponarequesttoconnecttocitywater.Water shall not be
O turnedon or be allowedto remain turnedon ifthe change is not paid.The charge shall be aportionoftheregularpermitfeeforwaterservicesasrequiredbyordinance.The reimburse-
ment shall be placed in Fund 477.

outs installed by theCityof Moses Lake underthe 1993 Street Improvement Project shall beassessedonthepropertiesasshownbelow.The charge shall be paid upon application of abuildingpermitoruponrequesttoconnecttocitysewer.The charge shallbe a portion for theregularpermitfeeforsewerservicesasrequiredbyordinance.The reimbursement shall beplacedinFund477.

Section 2.The City Council declares that an emergency exists and this ordinance shall take effectimmediatelyasprovidedbylawupononereadingif2/3 of theentire City Councilpresent vote in favor ofpassage.
