1678_00001-loD7 95100 6012 (LONGVIEWISLAND)ORDINANCENO.1678 (AMENDEDBYORD.1695 RECORDED12/18/95 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN SPECIFIED TERRITORY TO THE CITYOFMOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON,AND INCORPORATINGTHE SAME WITHINTHECORPORATELIMITSOFTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,AND WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE ASSUMPTION OF EXISTING INDEBTEDNESS ANDESTABLISHESTHEZONING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THECITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAINAS FOLLOWS: Section 1.The followingdescribed real estate as shown ontheattached map marked ExhibitA which bythisreferenceisincorporatedwithinthisordinance,situated in Grant Countycontiguousto the CityofMosesLakeisherebyannexedtoandincorporatedintheCityofMoses.Lake: That portion of SE 1/4 ofSection 10 and the NE 1/4 of Section 15,Township 19 North,Range28East,W.M.described as follows: Commencingat the northeast corner of said Section 15 and proceeding southerly along theeastsectionlineandthenwesterlytotheintersectionofthewestright-of-way line of Stratford Road and the south right-of-way line of Kinder Road;thencecontinuingwesterly along thesouthright-of-way line of Kinder Road a distance of 260 feet to the northwestcorner of theannexationdescribedinOrdinance1290andtheTruePointofBeginning; thence southerly along thewest boundary of the annexation described in Ordinance 1290 tothenorthboundaryoftheannexationdescribedinOrdinance248;thence northwesterlyalongthenorthboundaryoftheannexationdescribedinOrdinance248totheintersectionofthewestboundaryoftheSoutheast1/4,of Said Section 10;thence northerlyalong Said west boundary tothenortheasterly right-of-way line of SR-17;thence southeasterly along thenorth-easterly right-of-wayline of SR-17 to the south right-of-way line of Kittleson Road;thenceeasterlyalongthesouthright-of-wayline of Kittleson Road to the True Point of Beginning. Section 2.All property within the territoryannexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxedat the samerateandonthesamebasisasotherpropertywithinthecitytopayforanyoutstandingindebtednessoftheCityofMosesLakecontractedpriortoorexistingatthedateofannexation.No property hereinannexedshallbereleasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannexation. Section 3.That a copyof thisordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners of Grant-County Washington.¯- Section 4.That theannexed real estate described in Section 1 herein is zoned C-2,General CommercialandBusiness,as illustrated on the map on file with the Finance Director. Section 5.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force forty-five (45)days after its passage andpublicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
