ANORDINANCE AMENDINGCHAPTER 3.62 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICIPALCODEENTITLED"UTILITYSYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CHARGES"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 3.62 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "UtilitySystem Development Charges"is amended as follows:
3.62.030 Limitation on Service Requests:Persons who requested connection tothecity water and/or
sewer services on or before May 3,1995 shall have until June 2,2000 to make actual
connection tothe city's water and/or sewer system.Ifsuch actual connection is not made and
a utilityaccount opened for theutility service for which application was previously made on orbeforeJune2,2000,the application shall lapse and the fee not be refunded unless thepropertyownershallhaverequestedinwritingpriortosuchdatethereturnofsuchfees.A
new application toconnect is subject tothecosts and charges ineffectat the timeofthislatterapplicationforservice.
Section 2.This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publication
of its summary as provided by law.
