ANORDINANCE AMENDINGCHAPTER 16.12 OF THE MOSES LAKEMUNICI-
PAL CODE ENTITLED"BUILDINGPERMITS"
THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.Chapter 16.12 of theMoses Lake Municipal Code entitled "BuildingPermits"is amended asfollows:
O 16.12.070 Notice to Cease Violation:Any person,firm,or corporation found to be violating any provisionofthischaptershallbeservedbytheAdministrativeAuthoritywithwrittennoticestatingthenatureoftheviolationandprovidingareasonabletimelimitforthesatisfactorycorrectionthereof.The offender shall,withinthe period oftimestated in such notice,correct theviolation.No further violation shall be permitted at the location.
16.12.080 Penalty forContinuedViolation:Any person,firm,or corporation who continues any violationbeyondthetimelimitprovidedforinSection16.12.070 or who permitsan additional violationaftercorrectionoftheviolationnotedunder16.12.070 is deemed to have committeda civilinfraction,and upon conviction thereof,shall be subject to a C-1 penalty and punishable asdefinedinChapter1.08 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code.Failure or refusal tocomplyshallalsoconstitutegroundsforrevokingtheviolatorscitybusinesslicense.
Section 2.This ordinance shall takeeffect and be in force five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
