ANORDINANCEANNEXINGCERTAIN SPECIFIEDTERRITORYTOTHE CITYOFMOSES-LAKE;WASHINGTON,AND INCORPORATING THF,SAME WITHIN -THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,AND WHICHPROVIDESFORTHEASSUMPTIONOFEXISTINGINDEBTEDNESSANDESTABLISHESTHEZONING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The following described real estate,the City of Moses Lake Firing Range,as shown on theattachedmapmarkedExhibitAwhichbythisreferenceisincorporatedwithinthisortlinance,situated inGrantCountycontiguoustotheCityofMosesLakeisherebyannexedtoandincorporatedintheCityofMosesLake:
That portion of Sections 22 and 27,Township20 North,Range 28 East,Willamette Meridiandescribedasfollows:
Beginning at a point 7,972.31 feet north and 1,643,38 feet east of the southeast corner ofSection33ofsaidTownshipandRange(whoseWashingtonState Grid South Zone coordi-nates are Y=674,047.08,X=2298909.20and are referred totheU.S.C.&G.S.station "SPAD"whose Washington State Grid South Zone coordinates are Y=676,911.66,X =2288625.74),said point being theintersection of county roads knownas Randolph Drive and Tyndall Road;thence North 17 1T10"East along the centerline of said Randolph Drive 1,350.00 feet to thetruepointofbeginning;thenceNorth 89°28'11"east 1,630.00 feet;thenceNorth 0°31'49"Westapproximately1,360 feet more orless to thesection line of said Section 27;thencecontinuingNorth0°31'49"West 100 feet into said Section 22;thence South 89°28'11"west 1,210 feetmoreorlesstothecenterlineofRandolphDrive;thenceSouth 17°17'10"west 1,500 feet moreorlesstothetruepointofbeginning,
excepting therefromthewest thirtyfeet for county road right-of-way.
Section 2.AIIpropertywithin the territoryannexed shall hereinafter be assessed and taxedat the samerateandonthesamebasisasotherpropertywithinthecitytopayforanyoutstandingindebtednessoftheCityofMosesLakecontractedpriortoorexistingatthedateofannexation.No property hereinannexedshallbereleasedfromanyoutstandingindebtednessleviedagainstitpriortosaidannektion.
Section 3.That a copy ofthisordinanceshall be filed with the Board of CountyCommissioners of GrantCounty,Washington.
Section 4.That the annexed real estate described inSection 1 herein is zoned Public.
Section5.This ordinanceshalltakeeffectand be inforce five (5)days after its passage and publicationofitssummaryasprovidedbylaw.
Adopted by the City Council and signed by its Mayor on March 11,1997.
